Take a large mixing Bowl. In it, combine boiling
water, 1 cup rolling oats, 1/2 cup honey, 2 tablespoons of butter and salt. Let
the mixture stand for an hour.
·
In a small bowl, add 1 package of active yeast
to warm water. Let it stand for 10 minutes or until creamy.
·
Pour the yeast mixture to the oat blend and add
2 cups of flour to it. Add in the rest of the flour, ½ cup at a time and beat
well.

Once the dough is ready, put it on a lightly
floured surface and knead until it becomes smooth and elastic.
·
Lightly pour some oil in a large bowl and place
the dough in it. Turn it to coat with oil. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and
put it aside to rise in a warm place.
·
Post an hour, deflate the dough and turn it on
the lightly floured surface again. Divide it into two equal halves and form loaves.

·
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F and place the
loaf pans in it.

Bake them in the preheated oven for approximately
30 minutes or until their tops become golden brown in color.
·
Remove the loaves from the pans and brush their tops
with 2 tablespoons of honey. Sprinkle with oats and bake for another 2 minutes
for the sprinkled oats to settle down.
